Parents Association Chair Silas Obuhatsa has urged school heads and Boards of Management to assess their schools and put in place measures to protect learners from El Niño rains. He says parents should be assured of their children’s safety, adding that schools should not close early due to the rains. Obuhatsa notes that lessons from previous floods should guide schools in preparing for possible emergencies.
