Police in Kanamai, Mtwapa, Kilifi County, have launched a security crackdown on boda boda operators suspected of providing cover for criminals, ordering all riders to undergo registration. Area Deputy Police Chief Twafiq Baya said operators will receive identification numbers and designated colour codes based on their passenger stages. He said the measures will help weed out criminals, warning that riders without registration numbers and designated colour codes will face enforcement.
