ODM Nairobi chairman George Aladwa has denied claims that he and Governor Johnson Sakaja plan to disrupt a Linda Mwananchi rally scheduled for Sunday. Aladwa said ODM respects the group’s constitutional right to assemble and has no parallel event planned. He urged police to provide adequate security and called for peaceful political competition. Aladwa said ODM is instead focused on strengthening grassroots structures and mobilising support ahead of the 2027 General Election.
