ODM party leader Oburu Oginga is in the United Kingdom for a thorough routine medical check-up. In a statement, Oburu says  the visit follows advice from his doctors and the party leadership to allow for a comprehensive evaluation of his health, as well as a dedicated period of rest and rejuvenation. During his absence, the party will be stewarded by Deputy Party Leaders Simba Arati and Abdulswamad Nassir, who will work closely with the National Central Committee and the secretariat.
