Investing in patient safety is critical to saving lives and strengthening Kenya’s health system, WHO Representative to Kenya Dr. Neema Rusibamayila Kimambo has said. Kimambo said patient safety remains a global health priority and a cornerstone of stronger health systems. She said investment in patient safety saves resources and improves health outcomes, noting that WHO has recognised Kenya’s pioneering efforts to develop a national policy and action plan on patient safety and quality of care.
