The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) says it is implementing a clear electoral calendar and undertaking key preparations for the 2027 General Election. Chairperson Erastus Ethekon said the preparations cover voter registration, boundary delimitation, voter education, candidate registration, procurement, technology, training, security and dispute resolution. Speaking before the National Assembly Liaison Committee, Ethekon said the process is guided by the Election Operations Plan, further assuring continuous stakeholder engagement to promote transparency, accountability and public confidence.
