Health CS Aden Duale has defended Kenya’s health financing reforms, saying SHA is key to expanding access to quality healthcare while reducing the financial burden on households. CS Duale says the SHA’s three funds; the Primary Healthcare Fund, Social Health Insurance Fund and Emergency, Chronic and Critical Illness Fund are part of efforts to build a coordinated and sustainable health system and accelerate UHC.
