The Director of Public Prosecutions has secured a 50-year prison sentence against a woman convicted of trafficking 5 kilograms of bhang in Kakamega. Rachael Akinyi Juma was sentenced to 50 years in prison or, alternatively, a 50 million shilling fine. The court found her guilty after police recovered the narcotics concealed in 22 brooms at her rented house in Kakamega Central in June 2019.
