President William Ruto is set to begin a four-day development tour of the South Rift region, covering Bomet and Kericho counties. The President is expected to inspect and commission various projects, including roads, healthcare facilities, affordable housing and markets. In Bomet, Ruto will inspect works at Itembe Airstrip before commissioning the Bomet Mother and Child Hospital, roads within the town and an affordable housing project. He will also address a public rally in Bomet before proceeding to Tegat in Bomet East.
