County governments have been challenged to play a central role in supporting Kenya’s transition from traditional to clean cooking methods. Senators say the country requires 65 billion shilling to achieve the transition, with counties expected to strengthen their planning and implementation efforts. They revealed that only 25 of the 47 counties have developed clean cooking plans.
