Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has backed the government’s directive to close Tata Chemicals, accusing the company of violating the law by failing to remit taxes to the Kajiado county government. Cherargei said foreign investors should not abuse the privilege of operating businesses in Kenya and must comply with the country’s laws and tax obligations.
