Senators face a heavy legislative workload as they resume sittings after a short recess. Speaker Amason Kingi says 53 Bills are pending conclusion, with 33 at second reading and 19 at the Committee of the Whole stage. He also says 19 motions, 25 petitions and 581 statements remain pending before various committees. Kingi has urged Senators and committees to work with urgency as the session nears its close.
