Religious leaders have urged politicians to take the lead in promoting peace and unity as Kenya heads towards the 2027 General Election. The clerics, led by Jimmy Mwando, also called on Kenyans to reject politicians who seek to divide them along ethnic lines. They warned that political incitement and hate speech could fuel violence and plunge the country into instability.
