Twenty-three pedestrians have been arrested for failing to use the designated footbridge along Thika Superhighway. The arrests were made during a joint pedestrian enforcement operation by the Authority at the Fig Tree Footbridge. The pedestrians are expected to be charged in court. Authorities have urged pedestrians to use designated footbridges and crossing points, warning that crossing at unauthorized areas puts lives at risk, endangers other road users and disrupts traffic flow.
