Detectives are investigating the discovery of a decomposing body of an unidentified woman in a water reservoir behind hostels at Daystar University in Athi River, Machakos County. Police say the body may have been forced through the broken rear window of a hostel room, where blood stains were found on the walls. The room was reportedly linked to a former occupant who left about a month ago. The remains have been taken to Machakos Level Five Hospital mortuary pending identification and post-mortem.
