Kenyans have been urged to remain extremely vigilant as the Ministry of Health raises concern over the continued threat posed by the Mpox virus. Public Health PS Mary Muthoni said the virus remains silently present in communities, particularly around border points, and urged Kenyans to take necessary precautions. Muthoni, who issued a status update, noted that Mpox patients continue to be treated in isolation wards across the country.
