Detectives in Kisii County are investigating the suspected murder of a 50-year-old man whose body was found with both eyes missing. Henry Nyandoma was discovered dead in his house in Shirikisho, Kitutu Central, on Saturday. Police say he was last seen alive on Thursday and appeared well. His body was found lying on his bed and has been moved to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary pending an autopsy.

Meanwhile, a 54-year-old man was found murdered and his body dumped along a footpath in Nyamagenga village, Kuria East, Migori County. Zablon Nyangi Magoiga was found lying in a pool of blood on September 5. Police say he had suffered six deep cuts to the head, while three fingers on his right hand had been chopped off. Detectives have launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding his killing.
