Lamu leaders have pledged to support President William Ruto ahead of the 2027 General Election, citing security and the implementation of development projects as some of the reasons for backing his re-election bid. Led by Lamu Governor Isa Abdalla Timamy, the leaders urged residents to continue supporting the UDA party in the 2027 General Election.
