President William Ruto has defended the securitisation of the Road Maintenance Levy, saying the funds are supporting road construction projects across the country. Speaking in South Horr, Samburu County, Ruto said Sh4.8 billion had been committed to tarmac road projects in the county and pledged to ensure government development reaches every part of Kenya.
