NCCK Secretary General Chris Kinyanjui is accusing police of selectively enforcing the law against politicians ahead of next year’s elections. Kinyanjui cites the arrest of Mukurwe-ini MP John Kaguchia by a large contingent of officers, while questioning the lack of similar action against Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma over remarks he says were linked to violence. Kinyanjui wants police, the NCIC and prosecutors to act impartially against all politicians.
