The government says the expansion of eCitizen under President William Ruto has transformed access to public services, moving more services online and reducing the need for physical visits to government offices. The platform has grown from about 350 services in 2022 to more than 22,500, with over 13 million users. The government says the digital drive is improving access, transparency and revenue collection while supporting Kenya’s growing digital economy.
