A section of Mt Kenya leaders has raised concern over the resurgence of illicit brews in the region. Led by Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a, the leaders warned that the brews have contributed to deaths, illnesses and other social challenges among consumers. Ng’ang’a urged young people to shun illicit alcohol and instead engage in productive activities that can improve their social and economic well-being.
