KMPDU has called on counties and other stakeholders to urgently end the ongoing nurses’ strike, saying doctors are struggling to work without nurses in hospitals. KMPDU Secretary General Davji Atella says while health workers are committed to protecting patients’ lives, their dignity must also be protected to enable them deliver better services. The strike has lasted nearly a month, with nurses insisting they will only return to work once their demands are addressed.
