Kenya is set to benefit from a new global stockpile of Mpox vaccines designed to ensure countries access doses faster when outbreaks occur. The stockpile, funded by Gavi and coordinated by the International Coordinating Group, is expected to begin operations this month. The initiative follows concerns over unequal vaccine access, with Kenya having recorded the highest number of Mpox deaths in Africa over a six-week period earlier this year.
