Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen says the government is making progress in implementing recommendations by the National Police Reforms Taskforce chaired by former Chief Justice David Maraga. Speaking during the APS pass-out parade in Embakasi, Murkomen said reforms include increasing police recruitment and modernizing the service. He cited the implementation of the new police training curriculum as a key measure to improving professionalism, enhance service delivery and restore public confidence in the police.
