Authorities have arrested a suspected child trafficker at Korompoi Trading Centre in Isinya, Kajiado County. The suspect, Enock Peterson Mwangi alias Mwamburi, was arrested by a joint team of Kenya Police, Administration Police and DCI officers following investigations into child trafficking. Four minors aged between one and 17 were rescued from a bedsitter where he was residing. Preliminary investigations indicate the suspect may have operated in several areas, including Mashuru and Nakuru. The children were taken to hospital and later placed in safe custody as investigations continue.
