Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has urged leaders to avoid what she calls politics of rhetoric and instead concentrate on development. Waiguru says the government is helping people and should be supported to continue delivering on its agenda. She has reiterated her support for President William Ruto, saying she backs his re-election unconditionally. Waiguru also says the opposition remains confused and may struggle to unite behind one presidential candidate.
