Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has declared her unconditional support for President William Ruto’s re-election bid in 2027. Speaking during a women empowerment programme, Governor Waiguru said she will not bend her decision and join the democracy for citizens party led by Rigathi Gachagua. She further criticised the opposition, claiming it remains divided and unlikely to agree on a single candidate. Waiguru urged leaders to focus on development rather than political rhetoric.
