Kirinyaga Central MP Gachoki Gitari has urged President William Ruto to consider Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru as his running mate in the 2027 General Election. Speaking in Kirinyaga during an empowerment forum presided over by first lady Rachel Ruto, the law maker praised Waiguru’s performance as governor, saying her experience and track record in the county make her a strong candidate who could help boost Ruto’s chances of securing re-election.
