The High Court has barred an MCA and several companies from disposing of land and six motor vehicles linked to alleged corruption and conflict of interest. Justice Joseph Kipkoech Biomdo issued the orders following an EACC application seeking to preserve the assets. EACC says five companies received 20 county road contracts worth Sh111.5 million between 2017/18 and 2023/24, with proceeds allegedly used to acquire the disputed assets. The case will be heard on September 14.
