The single-storey home has grey and blue exterior walls, a lit verandah and a gated compound. Two chairs on the verandah add to the property's finished look.

In January, Otesa and car salesman Patrick Riang’a were seen at the site as construction got underway. Riang’a showed followers the foundation and explained that the new house would be built around Otesa’s existing mud-walled home. The plan allowed Otesa to continue using his old house while construction progressed.
“The three-bedroom bungalow for Goliath Wa Bungoma is coming up,” Riang’a said during the early stages of construction. Reports published in July put the estimated cost of the completed house at about Sh3.5 million.
