The Police Service has developed a phased roadmap to secure the 2027 General Election. Police IG Douglas Kanja says says implementation begins this month and will run through the post-election period next year. He says the plan focuses on early preparation, professional and impartial policing, neutrality, accountability and respect for the rule of law. Police personnel will also undergo specialised training to strengthen election security.
