The Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya has backed the 2026 Good Pharmacy Practice Guidelines, saying they will strengthen the quality, safety and accountability of pharmaceutical services. PSK says the guidelines set standards for sourcing and storing medicines, accurate dispensing, patient counselling and monitoring adverse reactions. The Society says proper pharmacy practices are essential in reducing preventable medication-related harm and ensuring Kenyans receive safe, effective and high-quality pharmaceutical care.
