Kenyan content creator Celestine has celebrated completing her nutrition journey with fitness coach Japes Fitness, saying the experience has changed the way she approaches food and her lifestyle.

In a post shared on Instagram, Celestine reflected on the ups and downs she experienced throughout the journey, including cravings, periods and changes in her progress.
She said the process was not always easy, but she continued showing up.

“There were good weeks, hard weeks, fluctuations, periods, cravings, chapatis 😂… real life. But I kept showing up.”

From Weight Loss To Lifestyle

According to Celestine, what initially began as a weight-loss journey gradually became a lifestyle change.
She explained that she has not completely removed foods such as chapatis from her diet. Instead, she has developed a better understanding of her body and the choices she makes.
“And somewhere along the way, this stopped being a ‘weight-loss journey’ and became a lifestyle. I still eat chapatis. 😂 I just understand my body and my choices differently now.”
Her comments highlight an approach centred on maintaining habits that can fit into everyday life rather than treating nutrition as a temporary programme.
The NHS notes that healthy weight management is generally linked to sustainable changes in eating and physical activity rather than short-term dieting. It also advises that a balanced diet should include a variety of foods.

Celestine Thanks Her Coach

Celestine also thanked Japes Fitness for supporting her throughout the programme.
She credited the coach for being invested in her progress and for walking with her through the different stages of the journey.
“JP, thank you for walking this journey with me and being so invested every step of the way.”
Photos shared alongside her journey have also showcased a noticeable transformation, with Celestine appearing significantly slimmer compared with her earlier appearance.
However, she did not disclose the exact amount of weight she had lost or provide specific measurements from the beginning and end of the programme.

Encouragement To Other Women

Celestine used the milestone to encourage women who may be considering making changes to their nutrition or lifestyle.
She urged them not to wait until they feel ready or aim for perfection before starting.
“You don’t have to be perfect; you just have to keep showing up.”
She concluded by celebrating her own progress and expressing gratitude for taking the first step.
“I did it. 🥹 And I’m so grateful I started.”
Celestine And Njugush’s Separation
Celestine’s latest milestone comes months after her separation from comedian Timothy Kimani, popularly known as Njugush.
The couple, who had been together for about 14 years, quietly parted ways in 2025 before Njugush publicly confirmed their separation in April 2026.
In his statement, Njugush said the decision was made after “much thought and with mutual respect”. He added that they had continued co-parenting their two children and supporting each other.
Njugush did not disclose what led to the separation, instead asking the public to respect their privacy as they began a new chapter.
