Kenya Railways will reduce the cost of transporting cargo from the Inland Container Depot to the Boma Line de-consolidation centre, near Nairobi Central Railway Station, from Sh58,000 to Sh10,000. Speaking during a meeting with traders at State House, President William Ruto said the reduction will lower the cost of doing business and ease the financial burden of moving and clearing imported goods, particularly consolidated cargo.
