IEBC Chairperson Erastus Ethekon says the electoral commission will strictly follow the Constitution and laws governing elections. Ethekon says the country’s electoral process is highly regulated and that nobody, including the IEBC chairperson, has the authority to alter or interpret the law outside its provisions. He says the commission will conduct its mandate within the legal framework, stressing that every decision must be guided by the law.
