US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has resigned after about 18 months in office, amid reported tensions with Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth. The 41-year-old, who was the youngest-ever Army Secretary, was often described as President Donald Trump’s “drone guy.” The White House praised Driscoll as highly effective in advancing Trump’s agenda. He becomes the latest senior military official to leave the Pentagon under Hegseth’s leadership.
