Clinical Officers are optimistic that governors will hire UHC workers on a permanent and pensionable basis following the conclusion of a deal between them and the counties. Chairperson Peterson Wachira says the deal does not address gratuity, but the issuance of appointment letters is a key step, with the union promising to end the strike county by county once the letters are issued and CBAs implemented.
