Political contests should not undermine unity, stability and development of nations, President William Ruto has said. Speaking during President Hakainde Hichilema’s inauguration in Lusaka, Zambia, the President explained that Africa cannot develop if every election becomes a moment of national uncertainty. He added that capital will not flow where institutions cannot be trusted, and prosperity cannot take root if politics repeatedly threatens the foundations on which it depends.
