In a statement, Mbadi said he was honoured to have been hosted by Ida for what he described as an enriching mother-to-son conversation, drawing from her experience and commitment to public service.

“We had an enriching mother-to-son conversation on matters of national and regional interest, drawing from her deep wisdom, experience, and enduring commitment to public service.”

“Always a blessing to sit at your feet. Asante sana Min Piny,” Mbadi said.
The meeting comes amid continued political engagements among leaders in the country following the death of Raila last year.
