Siaya Senator and ODM leader Oburu Oginga has dismissed reports that he was admitted to Nairobi Hospital, saying he only visited the facility briefly for a routine medical check-up. Reports on Tuesday claimed he had been readmitted under strict visitor restrictions, sparking concern over his health. Oburu said he was “very well” and had returned home after consulting doctors. He said he would inform the public of any serious complications.
