A multi-agency team led by NACADA has arrested 11 people and seized significant quantities of counterfeit alcoholic beverages during a 10-day crackdown across Nairobi. Conducted between August 20 and 31, the operation targeted eight sub-counties as authorities intensified efforts to dismantle networks involved in manufacturing, distributing and selling fake and unsafe alcohol. NACADA said the crackdown followed growing public concern and reports of counterfeit alcoholic products being produced, distributed, sold and consumed across Kenya.
