The DPP has secured a life sentence for a man convicted of defiling a two-year-old child in Yatta, Machakos County. The Kithimani Magistrate’s Court convicted the accused after prosecutors presented medical and physical evidence linking him to the January 6th, 2026 assault. The court heard that the child suffered genital injuries and was bleeding after the incident. The accused was known to the child and her family.
