Hundreds of passengers continue to remain stranded at  the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport following an ongoing strike by aviation workers. Many travelers spent last night in airport lobbies awaiting guidance from airlines, with some carriers arranging hotel accommodation for affected passengers. Workers under the Kenya Aviation Workers Union (KAWU) are demanding improved welfare, better working conditions and implementation of previously agreed employment benefits.
