A Nepalese headteacher is being credited with saving the lives of 900 pupils after evacuating them just 10 minutes before devastating floods struck. Rajendra Dawadi, headteacher at Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School, said he received four warnings about the approaching floods and immediately ordered students to higher ground. At least 794 people have died in the floods.
