The Ministry of Health is opposed to a proposal to move the statutory deadline for remitting SHA contributions from the 9^th to the 25^th of every month. Health CS Aden Duale warns that changing the deadline could attract a legal challenge, as it would require amendments to the existing SHA regulations and must also undergo public participation. CS Duale says the current deadline remains binding unless the necessary legal process is followed.
