Nurses say they are ready to end their nationwide strike but will only return to work once key agreements on their employment terms are implemented. The Kenya National Union of Nurses and Midwives says it is open to dialogue with the government and Council of Governors, but the strike that began on July 29 will continue until outstanding issues are resolved. Secretary General Seth Panyako says the union will not accept promises without implementation.
