The Kericho County Government has moved to hire 150 nurses to replace about 400 nurses currently on strike, in a bid to restore health services at public hospitals. Kericho Governor Erick Mutai has directed 137 nurses employed by the county on contract to return to work immediately claiming an agreement has been reached with them and their grievances addressed.
