The DPP has secured additional 15-year prison terms for three terror convicts who escaped from Kamiti Maximum Security Prison in 2021. Principal Magistrate Gideon Kiage sentenced Musharaf Abdala, Mohamed Ali Abikar and Joseph Odhiambo to serve the terms after completing their existing sentences. The court found that the three acted with a common intention, travelling together from Kamiti to Kitui and later Endao while evading security agencies.
