The Ministry of Education expects to transition from NEMIS to KEMIS from next year. Basic Education PS John Ololtuaa says KEMIS will provide a wider scope, unified data architecture and consistent information across education sectors. He was responding to concerns from MPs over schools that have experienced challenges accessing capitation during the transition. NEMIS previously covered basic education only.
